Experienced Automotive Mechanic – Join Our Trusted Team in Torquay!



Torquay Auto Service is a busy, family-owned workshop with over 30 years of trusted service in the Surf Coast region. We're on the lookout for a qualified and passionate Automotive Mechanic to join our close-knit, customer-focused team.

This is a full-time position (38 hours/week), offering above award wages and a great work-life balance in a supportive, well-established business.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

• Performing scheduled maintenance and vehicle servicing to the highest standards
• Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues using modern diagnostic tools
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and teammates
• Keeping accurate service records and ensuring safety standards are always met
• Staying up to date with evolving automotive technology and practices

✅ What We're Looking For

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
• A current, valid driver’s licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Proven experience as an auto service technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A keen eye for detail and pride in your workmanship
• Friendly, reliable, and a great team player with good communication skills
